Na het boodschappen doen loop ik even de tijdschriftenhandel in om te kijken of de nieuwe &#8220;boekkies&#8221; al binnen zijn. Langzaamaan beginnen de nieuwe breitijdschrijften uit te komen. Een kleine vooruitblik naar de komende herfstpatronen&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/tijdschriften3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-624\" src=\"http:\/\/hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/tijdschriften3-400x225.jpg\" alt=\"tijdschriften3\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>De Verena kunnen we kort over zijn: daar staat niks leuks in. Ik vind de Verena al een poosje niet veel aan. Rare modellen, rare kleuren, rare constructies, gewoon&#8230; raar. Geen truien en vesten die ik zou dragen of graag zou maken. Dat is puur een kwestie van smaak natuurlijk. Ik hou blijkbaar wat meer van traditionelere modellen.<\/p>\n<p>Zoals bijvoorbeeld het vest op de cover van de Sandra. Dat is meer mijn smaak. De Verena wordt steeds raarder en de Sandra wordt steeds leuker, vind ik.<\/p>\n<p>Behalve dit vest staat er ook het patroon voor een erg mooie trui in.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/tijdschriften4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-625\" src=\"http:\/\/hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/tijdschriften4-225x400.jpg\" alt=\"tijdschriften4\" width=\"225\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Een grijze trui met een kabeltje. Helemaal mijn soort trui. Deze gaat op het verlanglijstje voor deze herfst!<\/p>\n<p>Ook de virtuele tijdschrijften zijn weer aan het verschijnen. De nieuwe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knitty.com\/ISSUEff14\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Knitty<\/a>\u00a0vind ik net als de Verena tegenvallen. Neem nou het patroon voor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knitty.com\/ISSUEff14\/PATTrainbow.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rainbow<\/a>. Ik kan er niks mee. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knitty.com\/ISSUEff14\/PATThiddengusset.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hidden Gusset Mitts<\/a> vind ik dan wel weer een leuk patroon uit deze uitgave. Ik heb me voor deze herfst\/winter voorgenomen te leren handschoenen\/wanten te leren breien. Dat heb ik nog nooit gedaan.<\/p>\n<p>Een ander virtueel tijdschrijft is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twistcollective.com\/2014\/fall\/magazinepage_01.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twist Collective<\/a>. In tegenstelling tot Knitty zijn deze patronen niet gratis en meestal wat ingewikkelder. Gelijk op de cover staat al mijn favoriet uit deze uitgave: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/greenery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Greenery<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/greenery_z_500_medium2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-626\" src=\"http:\/\/hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/greenery_z_500_medium2-266x400.jpg\" alt=\"greenery_z_500_medium2\" width=\"266\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>(<span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a9 Linus Ouellet)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Of ik deze trui ook echt ooit ga maken weet ik nog niet. Ik weet niet of het kleurige gedeelte entrelac is of inbreien. Ik kan niet inbreien. Ik ben er een ramp in. Wat zo jammer is want ik vind inbreiwerk wel altijd heel mooi!<\/p>\n<p>Op de iPad heb ik mezelf de nieuwe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/sources\/interweave-knits-fall-2014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Interweave Knits<\/a> kado gedaan. Wat een vondst is dat toch! Ik weet nog dat ik jaren geleden in een tijdschriftenwinkel een keer een Interweave vond. Voor 25 gulden. Daarna nooit meer eentje in Nederland gezien. En nu kan ik ze gewoon elk kwartaal met een druk op de knop op de iPad kopen voor maar een paar euro. Geweldig!<\/p>\n<p>Mijn favoriete patroon uit de Interweave is de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/meadow-tunic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Meadow Tunic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/20140529_intw_knits_0455_medium2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-628\" src=\"http:\/\/hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/20140529_intw_knits_0455_medium2-266x400.jpg\" alt=\"20140529_intw_knits_0455_medium2\" width=\"266\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>(<span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a9 Interweave Knits)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Maar dan zonder dat rare gefrummel bij de mouwboorden. Dat detail vind ik een beetje stom dus als ik deze trui zou breien zou ik dat gewoon weglaten.<\/p>\n<p>Inspiratie genoeg voor de komende herfst dacht ik zo! En dan te bedenken dat een groot gedeelte van de nieuwe tijdschriften nog niet uit zijn. Het zal moeilijk worden te kiezen wat ik als eerste wil breien als mijn huidige projecten af zijn. Ik ben nog steeds bezig met <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/zora\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zora<\/a>. Met vrij dun garen op dunne naalden gaat dat niet heel erg hard.<\/p>\n<p>Wat ook niet erg hard gaat maar wel gestaag is de afwerking van mijn ecru ajourvest, gebreid met <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hobbygigant.nl\/breien-en-haken\/lana-grossa\/together\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Together<\/a> van Lana Grossa. Ik ben gister vele uren bezig geweest met de losse panden aan elkaar naaien en alle losse draadjes inweven.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/ecruajourvest7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-629\" src=\"http:\/\/hobbygigant.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/ecruajourvest7-400x225.jpg\" alt=\"ecruajourvest7\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Het enige dat nog moet is de voorbies breien. Daarvoor moet ik 340+ steken opnemen.
